Frequently Asked Questions

How much do you charge?

This is largely dependent on the volume of transactions, the complexity of your business, and your specific requirements.
Our packages are structured as follows: Compliance Package, Management Information Package, Financial Forecasting Package.
We will have an in-depth conversation with you before we quote for our services, to make sure that we fully understand your business and your requirements.

Do you offer fixed fees?

We work on a time fee basis, not a fixed fee basis. This means you are only ever charged for the work that we do. If the time taken to complete the work is less than budgeted, we will invoice you less. If the time taken is more than budgeted we may invoice you more. If it is likely that our work will take significantly longer than budgeted, we will bring this to your attention before we commence work so that you can make a decision whether you want us to continue with the work.

How do your fees compare to the market average?

We charge more than the market average, and that is because our services are better than average- they are excellent! If the price is the only - or a significant - concern, we are probably not the right company for you.

Do you offer a bespoke services?

Our service is entirely bespoke, as no two clients are the same. To make sure our service meets your needs, a team member will have an in-depth conversation with you before we start any work, to learn more about the business and your specific requirements. This can last anywhere between half an hour and one and a half hours.

What software do you use?

We are Xero and Quickbooks Online partners and experts, but can use other online packages if requested. We no longer use desktop-based accounting packages.

How do I send the records to you?

We request that all records be sent to us electronically, and have a number of electronic methods and apps that we recommend. We will work with you to find the most appropriate delivery method.

Can you prepare my year end accounts and tax return?

We don’t prepare year end accounts and tax returns at our office. However, we have links to accountants that we can introduce you to that do so.

Do you do payroll?

Payroll is handled by our sister Company Balance Payroll Ltd, who we work closely with.

Will I have one point of contact?

Each client is allocated to a team member, and that team member will be your single point of contact. To ensure continuity of service, you may occasionally hear from other team members if your dedicated team member is away from the office, or from our Director, Costas, if there are particular points he needs to discuss with you.

What happens if I want to leave? Am I tied in to minimum contract terms?

We don’t have minimum contract terms. If you decide not to continue using our services, all you need to do is let us know in writing.

How long have you been in business?

We have been in business for over 35 years.
